Arthritis Exercise

Taught by Aquatic Exercise Association-trained program leaders, this free program is designed to help those with arthritis or limited mobility enjoy a more active lifestyle while improving their health.  Classes include cardiorespiratory endurance activities, balance exercises, stretches and relaxation.

Diabetes Self-Management

Recognized by the American Diabetes Association, this free six-week program helps those affected by diabetes, including family members and caregivers, learn skills to more effectively manage symptoms.  It can be combined with other programs and treatments.

Living Well With Chronic Conditions Workshop

This 6-week program was developed by Stanford University and is free.  It is designed to assist you in developing a self-management program to fit your needs.  It is for people living with Arthritis, Asthma, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Heart Disease, Diabetes, COPD, Emphysema and several other chronic conditions.

Topics Include:

Managing symptoms, stress, and fatigue
Role of nutrition and exercise in disease management
Dealing with difficult emotions
Effective problem solving
Forming a partnership with your health care team and more. .
